There are several projects, e.g. www.armenianarchitecture.am, for creating databases with georeferenced information dedicated to Armenian Monument Heritage, including those located within Historical Armenia and the Diaspora. Current situation: a) implementation level: intermediate (regional) and local, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage inventory, archaeology, historic monuments conservation. |
