Canada’s Historic Places provides an online tool (www.historicplaces.ca/en/rep-reg/search-recherche.aspx) of the Canadian Register of Historic Places, which allows the user to access the interactive map of historic places all over the country. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, heritage planning.
