The impressive geo-spatial component developed by the National Monuments Authority is displayed at bhuvan-app1.nrsc.gov.in/culture_monuments/, being hosted by the Indian Geo-Platform of the Indian Space Research Organisation. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, condition mapping, open source GIS. |
