The Department of Antiquities, in cooperation with Getty Conservation Institute and World Monuments Fund developed the MEGA-Jordan system (www.megajordan.org), which is the National Heritage Documentation and Management System. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) national information infrastructure under current development, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, conservation, antiquities inventory, virtual reality, 3D GIS.
