The Ministry of Culture operates a general-purpose cultural geoportal (geocultura.cultura.gob.pe), which includes as distinct layers both World Heritage sites and archaeological heritage and, at the same time, the archaeological cadastre geoportal of Peru (sigda.cultura.gob.pe). Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, geoglyphs, archaeological cadastre, Andean road system.
