The Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic coordinates the development of the General Inventory of the Cultural Monuments of the country. The Spatial Data Registry of Slovakia (rpi.gov.sk) includes several themes dedicated to cultural heritage. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, cultural heritage inventory. |
