There are a lot of cultural heritage projects using GIS technology all over Turkey. Most of them are implemented at regional or local level. Current situation: a) implementation level: intermediate (regional), local, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, historic monuments conservation, landscape modelling, GIS and BIM integration, 3D GIS.
