UTILIZAREA TEHNOLOGIEI GIS PENTRU PATRIMONIUL CULTURAL

Geoportalul Direcţiei Generale a Antichităţilor şi Patrimoniului Cultural include informaţie georeferenţiată privind monumentele şi siturile culturale din Grecia. Utilizarea tehnologiei GIS este de asemenea studiată din punct de vedere metodologic iar disciplina GIS a constituit o temă importantă pentru şcolile de vară organizate în cadrul sectorului cultural din Grecia. Situaţia actuală: a) toate nivelurile de implementare, de la local la naţional, b) tehnologia GIS este inclusă în cadrul infrastructurii informatice naţionale, c) există aplicaţii GIS publice, d) domenii de aplicare principale: administrarea patrimoniului, arheologie, monumente istorice, itinerarii culturale.

Prof. Petros Patias a oferit informaţii relevante la nivel naţional, după cum urmează. Există multe aplicaţii GIS care sunt utilizate în mod curent în toată ţara pentru protejarea patrimoniului cultural. Utilizarea tehnologiei GIS este de asemenea studiată din punct de vedere metodologic. În plus, tehnologia GIS a fost folosită în şcolile de vară organizate în cadrul sectorului cultural din Grecia, ca parte a unor proiecte şi programe de cercetare ( ... ) sau în cadrul unor cursuri universitare. Mai precis, a fost organizată o serie de cursuri sub forma de şcoli de vară în situri arheologice, având drept obiectiv instruirea unor categorii profesionale precum ingineri, arheologi şi arhitecţi în utilizarea fotogrammetriei şi fotogrammetriei la mică distanţă prin scanare laser sau UAV în scopul producerii de modele 3D pentru reprezentări de tip realitate virtuală şi printing 3D. Există cursuri post-universitare ( Alexopoulou, 2014 ) care includ disciplina GIS predată în contextul sectorului cultural.
