The National Heritage Institute website includes a geoportal dedicated to cultural heritage preservation (geoportal.npu.cz) as part of the Integrated Information System for Heritage Preservation. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, cultural heritage preservation, risk management.
