The Cultural Heritage Atlas (atlas.patrimoines.culture.fr) stands for the geo-portal of the Ministry of Culture in France. It is connected to the national INSPIRE geoportal (www.geoportail.fr) and it is under current extension with new thematic components. Current situation: a) all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d) main fields of application: heritage management, archaeology, condition mapping, 3D models, GIS and BIM integration, monitoring.
