Qatar Cultural  Heritage Information Management System integrates major databases about  heritage areas in the country, based on the platform created within the Qatar  National Historic Environment Record. Current situation: a)  all levels of implementation, from local to national, b) GIS technology included within the  national information infrastructure, c) GIS applications publicly available, d)  main fields of application: heritage inventory, archaeology, heritage management,  open source.  |
