UTILIZAREA TEHNOLOGIEI GIS PENTRU PATRIMONIUL CULTURAL

Există multe proiecte în domeniul patrimoniului cultural în Turcia care folosesc tehnologia GIS. Cele mai multe dintre ele sunt implementate la nivel regional sau local. Situaţia actuală: a) nivel de implementare: intermediar (regional) şi local, b) tehnologia GIS este inclusă în cadrul infrastructurii informatice naţionale, c) există aplicaţii GIS publice, d) domenii de aplicare principale: administrarea patrimoniului, arheologie, conservarea monumentelor istorice, modelarea peisajului, integrare GIS şi BIM, 3D GIS.
